Who we are

About us

The Open Source Village is a co-created pop-up village alongside FOSDEM 2027. We co-create a welcoming environment for open source communities to connect, collaborate, and build lasting relationships.

Whether you are arriving early or staying late, our village offers coworking spaces, workshops, evening socials, and a hub for connecting with the open source community.

This is an opportunity to give back to the people that contribute all year long to the open source projects that we rely on β€” and to take good care of them.

The village is put together by a small crew of volunteers, currently Leen and Miriam. Want to help build it? Come and say hello β€” the village is co-created, and there is always room for another pair of hands.
